Jackson County School District had an increase in student enrollment during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Florida Department of Education. Overall, there was a total of 6,076 students enrolled in the district in the academic year.

Data reveals that the majority of students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year were white, representing 55.8% of the Jackson County School District total enrollment.

Additionally, the largest portion of students in the district are enrolled in elementary school grades, making up 46.9% of the total enrollment.

Jackson County School District covers 16 schools within Jackson County, with its main office in Marianna.

Among the 16 schools in Jackson County School District, Marianna K-8 School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,768 students in the 2022-23 school year.

In 2022, Florida had more than 2.8 million students enrolled in a total of 4,202 schools. There were 163,558 teachers in the public schools, or roughly one teacher for every 17 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
