Event Description:

Chamber to Host Trip to Greece

The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Citslinc International to make an incredible international travel opportunity available and affordable to chamber members and others in the community who would like to experience the culturally rich world of Greece. Travel dates are October 14th – 22nd, with departure from Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.

This nine day, eight night trip includes round-trip international airfare from Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia (does not include airfare to and from ATL), lodging at 4 & 5 star luxury hotels, airport taxes throughout the trip, breakfast and lunch per day, all intra-city air and land transportation, English speaking tour guides, and admission to all attractions, all for just $3,399.00 per person for Chamber members (non-members add $100).

The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce invites its members, their friends, and any other interested person to consider taking advantage of this is a cost effective opportunity to become familiar with some of the leading cities in Greece.

During the trip you will visit the cities of Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, and Peloponnese. See Panathenaic Stadium, the Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zues, Acropolis Museum (one of the best museums in the world); enjoy a ferry boat ride to the island of Mykonos known for it’s windmills and jet set lifestyle where you can lounge on the beach, visit cafes and galleries; Explore the whitewashed towns of Fira and Oia; Visit Syntagma Square, Ancient Agora of Athens and Theatro Technis Karolos Koun; Drive along the coast to Peloponnese stopping at Canal of Corinth, Ancient Theater of Epidaurus; the archaeological site of Mycenae; Gate of Lions and Atreus King Tomb.

Tiffany Garling had an opportunity to experience this same trip last September when she was invited to participate as part of a delegation of Chamber CEOs from around the US. Tiffany says, “It was truly a remarkable experience. Being there and observing first hand their economy, culture and history in the birth place of democracy exposes you to opportunities that would not be considered otherwise. Their agriculture was reminiscent of some of the crops we have in Jackson County. The cultural tours were simply breathtaking.”

Citslinc International has worked with over 600 chambers in 49 states to send annually over 20,000 business people with their friends and families to experience beautiful and culturally rich travel destinations while learning more about the global economy. Both the American Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Association and the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals (FACP) have endorsed Citslinc International as a preferred provider.

Make plans to attend our preview pre-tour briefings and learn for yourself the details of this opportunity on Tuesday, February 7th from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. Contact the Chamber at 850-482-8060 for more information.
