The 2022 Informant

A46

The Social Justice Club of the 2021-2022 school year would like to introduce this year's Informant! Every club member has individually partaken in research based on a social issue in the world. This year's edition features articles written by students of all grades in the Upper School as well as artwork made in the upper school studio. The club leaders and co-editors, Luna Rivera and Maeve Reicher, worked to help organize club meetings and activities and put together the yearly informational publishing. This year, we have helped in the school-wide effort to further Black History Month and paired with Breaking Barriers to connect the actors and students in the MLK day play.

Along with facilitating student-led diversity and inclusion meetings, we also helped write curriculum for SES's Advocacy Program and attended a National Social Justice conference. We often made announcements for Native American heritage month, Hispanic heritage month, Columbus, and Indigenous people's day. We thank our advisors, Mr. and Mrs. Link, for making this year the best, most productive and most engaging yet. And thank you to Dr. Hirstein and Mr. MacMullan for your continued support of our club.
