Holmes County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on March 3.
Seniors it’s that time of year again, where the seniors of Holmes County start applying for scholarships.
Seniors don’t forget if you are interested in becoming a law enforcement officer, correctional officer, EMT, paramedic, firefighter, nurse, or anything in the first responder or medical field to pick up an application from your guidance counselor or school resource deputy.
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one senior from every school in honor of a fallen hero.
