Florida A&M University Athletics recently issued the following announcement.
Florida A&M women's basketball Dylan Horton and men's basketball MJ Randolph earn SWAC Player of the Week honors after their performances this past week.
Horton was a key contributor for Florida A&M this past week of competition, averaging 16.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.0 steals per game during the Rattlers' non-conference outings versus Georgia State, Coastal Carolina, and the College of Charleston. She tallied a game-high 18 points during FAMU's game versus Georgia State.
Randolph averaged 22.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game during non-conference outings versus Cincinnati, Santa Clara, and UC-Santa Barbara. He tallied a career-high 31 points during the Rattlers' outing versus UC-Santa Barbara.
This is Randolph's second SWAC Player of the Week honor.
