Graduates earn 89 degrees from The Baptist College of Florida

About 62.9 percent of the 89 degrees and certificates handed out by The Baptist College of Florida in 2017-18 were to students in theology and religious vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Graceville conferred 51 bachelor's degrees and 4 master's degrees in theology and religious vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in theology/theological studies. Data shows the school gave out 34 bachelor's degrees in theology/theological studies, followed by 10 bachelor's degrees in general psychology and 8 bachelor's degrees in religious education.

The college enrolled 467 students for 2017-18, including 448 in undergraduate programs and 19 in graduate programs.
