On Saturday, April 12, former Holmes County High School standout Marissa Barnes’ current college team, the East Tennessee State Buccaneers, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mercer Bears.

The game took place at Betty Basler Field. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Buccaneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at Betty Basler Field against Mercer Bears.
